What is the relationship between WhataHotel! and Lorraine Travel?
WhataHotel! is a branded website owned & operated by Lorraine Travel. Lorraine Travel is a full service travel managements company, in business since 1948 and is headquartered in Coral Gables, Florida.

Will I be charged anything by the hotel when I make a booking.
No. In most cases, your credit card is merely used to "guarantee" an online reservation. Your credit card account is then billed once you complete your stay & check out. Some properties, mainly resorts, may take a nominal deposit on the credit card supplied online. In either case, most hotels in our collection permit cancellations w/o penalty on the vast majority of all bookings. Each hotels' policy varies & can be found on our site.

Does have a different cancellation policy on a completed reservation?
No. We abide by the same cancellation policy as the property. Most properties will allow a guest to cancel a reservation without a penalty if such cancellation is made outside the 24 hours prior to arrival. Some properties, especially those in resort areas have 7 day/14 day parameters where cancellations within such timeframes result in the forfeiture of at least one nights room/tax charge or more.

Does charge a fee on bookings?
Yes, there is a nominal, non-refundable transaction fee when you complete a reservation online. If a professional agent handles your booking, there will also be a transaction fee.

Is it safe to use my credit card? What credit cards are accepted?
Yes, it is perfectly safe to use your credit card. uses secure socket layers, encryption techniques and firewalls to safeguard all of your personal information on its booking engines. We accept payment by Visa, MasterCard, Diners and American Express.

Can there be more than two adults in the room?
Most hotels have a limit as to how many people stay in a room. Usually, rooms with a King size bed allow for two guests. Many hotels also offer rooms with Two Double Beds which can accommodate up to four guests. There may be an extra charge applied by the hotel for an additional bed

How do I make special requests while completing a reservation online?
During the booking process, there is a field where you can enter any special request(s). Our customer support staff carefully reviews completed reservations for special requests and ensures the hotel is aware of them prior to the guests arrival.

Once you complete a booking on line, your confirmation will contain links to Add a Flight and Tours & Activities.

How do I cancel an existing reservation?
Once you are logged in, go to the upper right hand corner of the home page and click on “My Reservations”, then click on “Booking History”, then find the reservation you wish to cancel. Before cancelling, please be sure that there is no penalty by reviewing the cancellation policy on your confirmation.
