— Verbier, Switzerland —
Originally Sir Richard Branson's personal mountain retreat, The Lodge is one of Verbier's most coveted addresses — bookable exclusively as a whole-chalet experience for up to 20 guests. Nestled in the heart of the Swiss Alps, it sits at the gateway to the Four Valleys, one of the world's largest interconnected ski areas with over 410km of pistes. With just 14 rooms, a private spa, indoor pool, and a dedicated chef crafting Alpine-inspired menus, every detail whispers exclusivity. The Virgin brand's signature fun-meets-sophistication ethos runs through everything — from the vintage wine cellar to the cinema room.
Don't leave without savoring the outdoor hot tub experience after a full day on the slopes — soaking beneath a star-filled Alpine sky is pure magic. And if you visit in summer, Verbier transforms into a hiking and mountain biking paradise, with the annual Verbier Festival drawing world-class classical musicians every July — a breathtaking cultural contrast to the winter ski crowds.
